Janus-Patents manages our client's IP from start to finish: prior-art searching, drafting, filing, and prosecution of the patent application; any subsequent execution of a license, contract, agreement, or other royalty agreement; long term maintenance of patents; securing specialists, outside counsel, outsourced searching company, or contracted IP service.

Janus-Patents will provide prior-art search services, drafting, filing and indexing of potential inventions for innovative clients. Further to this, Janus-Patents will provide expertise to the client on low-cost strategies for all of these services, including strategies for obtaining global patent protection. It is expected that all costs to the client will be partly subsidized in anticipation of licensing the innovation. Should the client subsequently complete a licensing deal, secure VC, or retain other investment funds stemming from Janus' services, a small percentage will be retained by Janus-Patents.

Projects costs quoted to our clients are based on individual assessment and the estimated time to complete the project. Each project is negotiated separately. Proposals may be negotiated based on a required amount of prior-art searches, prosecution fees (billed to Janus by the United States Patent & Trademark Office), or other patenting, indexing, and advertisement (web-based) fees.

Prior to Janus-Patents accepting any project, a client-reviewed service contract will be drafted outlining the detailed project scope, expectations, and client requirements.
